Danwadaag is a multi-year, results-based durable solutions programme that enhances progress towards longer-term solutions and (re)integration for displacement affected communities (DAC) in Somalia, in Banadir Regional Administration, Jubaland State, and South West State. It is funded by UK Aid and led by IOM with local and international NGO partners. These include NRC, CWW, GREDO, SHACDO, Juba Foundation, and ReDSS.
Prior to the completion of the programme’s current multi-year iteration, the Consortium proposes to convene a series of discussions designed to reflect on these learnings and critical success factors to advance the dialog on collective solutions and progress policy and practice of durable solutions.
The learning series, consisting of three learning events lasting an estimated three hours each, will examine key findings derived from Danwadaag’s evidence-base, generated between 2018 and 2021 to present practical recommendations for future programming and the replication of solutions.
