Job Title: Data Analytics Trainer

Job Overview
- The Data Analytics Trainer will be responsible for anchoring a 5-day data analysis training with focus on Stata.
- The trainer is expected to build the capacity of participants in quantitative data analysis including the use of Stata statistical software in analyzing health data and the application of M&E data in strengthening health systems.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate an intensive data analysis skill acquisition training utilizing a didactic learning approach and engaging practical sessions.
- Provide an overview to participants on data analysis and statistics including an introduction to Stata, a revision of basic Monitoring and Evaluation skills, program evaluation methods and basic Epidemiology skills.
- Train participants on the use of program and NDHS datasets.
- Build the capacity of participants in analyzing quantitative health specific data (univariate, bivariate and multivariate) using Stata.
- Improve data presentation and publication writing skills among participants including developing publication-quality graphs using Stata.
- Demonstrate to participants the practical applications M&E data in strengthening health systems.
- Strengthen research and M&E skills of the training participants.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Expected Training Outcomes
Participants are expected to display a measurable improvement in their:
- Use of M&E and research findings.
- Competence in data analysis.
- Ability to produce publication quality graphs.
- Development of abstracts or manuscripts for publication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or any related field.
- Previous experience as a Training Facilitator, Training Coordinator, on Stata or similar data analytics tools.
- Demonstration of robust knowledge and experience in facilitating Research Methodology trainings.
- Proven expertise in the use of statistical software specifically Stata.
- Should possess strong understanding of research methodology and scientific writing.
- Ability to develop publication-quality graphs using Stata.
- Practical skills and experience in health data analytics and its application in strengthening health systems.
- Experience in supporting organizations in Research Methodology and training.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
