The Strong Cities Network (SCN) is seeking to recruit a Head of Partnerships and Network Management to play a key role in the delivery of an exciting new strategy for the next phase of the network’s impact globally.
The SCN is an independent global network of 150+ cities and local governments dedicated to addressing all forms of violent extremism, hate and polarisation, while promoting a human rights-based prevention framework in which local knowledge and practice informs national, regional and international approaches.
The Head of Partnerships and Network Management will oversee and lead on engagement and development with the wider SCN Members and Partners in this next phase, ensuring relationships with key stakeholders are maintained and driving opportunities for business development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage SCN partnership development and donor relations
- Lead development and implementation of SCN’s communications strategy
- Oversee SCN member engagement
- Recruit and lead an International Steering Committee of ~15 cities globally

The salary for this position is £55,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Candidates must have the following skills and experience:
- Expert knowledge of international counter-terrorism and countering violent extremism (CVE), rule of law, or international cooperation
- Substantial expertise in partnership and network building, business development, and fundraising
- Strong leadership skills including experience building and managing teams remotely
