SENIOR EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR OVERVIEW
The role provides critical support to the Executive Director at The IWI and undertakes operational & administrative functions of support.
o Providing direct support to Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director to ensure The IWI meets organizational goals and targets;
o Arranging and ensuring attendance for the directors and taking minutes;
o Ensuring senior management reports are timely & completely submitted;
o Day-to-day management of the Executive Director’s diary and meeting schedule;
o Liaising with potential partners and donors at a high-level on behalf of the Executive Director;
o Supporting the Executive Director to prepare information for presentations, media interviews, etc;
o Keeping the Executive Director updated on key organizational issues when she is in/out of the office with diplomacy and discretion.
o Be an essential part and support to The IWI’s 2022 Strategic Plan;
o Coordinate and support project management for back office.
o Strong organizational and time management skills;
o Strong and clear communication style;
o Ability to meet all deadlines with minimal supervision;
o Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, and the ability to work remotely and independently as part of a team;
o Desire to work in a women’s human rights environment;
o Experience working at Executive Assistant level with senior management;
o Ability to manage complex and highly confidential information;
o Comfortable working autonomously and across multiple tasks and reporting into different project working teams and staff members;
o Knowledge of advanced MS office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
o Excellent social skills, able to operate with diplomacy, tact and empathy;
o A high degree of personal organization and self-management;
o Comfortable with deadlines;
o Ability to think proactively and laterally to maximize opportunities to promote the work of The IWI.
