Duties
- The Supply Clerk (Receiving) manages the receiving, tracking, inspection, distribution and inventory of property management services for the Department of State and associated agencies.
- The position is in the General Services Office and under the supervision of the GSO Deputy Warehouse Supervisor.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
- Experience: Two (2) years of supply related experience in supply/warehousing/expendables or property/supply management is required.
- Education Requirements: Completion of Secondary School is required.
- Evaluations: This may be tested. Please specify your level of proficiency in the language listed.
- Language: Good working knowledge in speaking/reading/writing of English is required.
Job Knowledge:
- Must have good understanding of supply chain management and warehouse operations to include receiving, inspecting, tracking, storing and issuing of supplies.
- Must have good knowledge of computerized inventory and stock control data programs.
Skills and Abilities:
- Computer competencies including basic skills in Microsoft Office Applications, and related software is required.
- Basic math skills is required. Must be able to lift a maximum of 51lbs (23kg).
- Working knowledge of inventory management tools such as handheld scanners and software is required.
